Job description

About Academy of the Digital Industries

ADI was born out of a simple need: we couldn’t find enough professionals with the right digital skills, so we decided to train them ourselves.

What started in 2018 as a grassroots initiative in Tbilisi has evolved into a global Edtech platform with over 30,000 alumni.

Our programs are built by experts, designed around real world demands, and delivered in an environment of collaboration, curiosity, and growth.

In 2023, we partnered with Tether to take our mission global, expanding access to practical, career-boosting education for learners everywhere. Today, we’re building the next generation of digital professionals: marketers, designers, coders, and creators who don’t just want a job, they want to make an impact.

We’re guided by values we truly live by: putting people first, staying curious, doing excellent work, and taking ownership.

And we’re just getting started.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a hands-on and solutions-oriented Tech Operations Lead to ensure the smooth functioning, reliability, and continuous improvement of ADI’s digital infrastructure.

This role is responsible for providing day-to-day operational technical support and managing our key systems: including the CRM, learning platform, internal tools (such as Monday.com and Zoho Suite), integrations, and website.

You’ll act as the backbone of ADI’s technology operations, troubleshooting issues, maintaining system stability and security, and leading technical improvements that enhance productivity and internal workflows.

In addition, you’ll support basic Product Owner responsibilities: helping to prioritize and coordinate system improvements, gathering user feedback, and ensuring that technology solutions align with business needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of all ADI systems and digital platforms.

  • Manage core tools including the CRM, learning platform, Monday.com, Zoho Suite, G-Suite, and our Website CMS (experience with common CMS platforms such as WordPress or Drupal is welcome).

  • Lead automation and integration initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce manual processes.

  • Provide technical support to internal teams, troubleshoot issues, and ensure minimal downtime.

  • Oversee system security, data management, and compliance with GDPR and other data protection standards.

  • Collaborate with teams to identify business needs and translate them into technical improvements.

  • Gather and analyze user feedback to prioritize development and enhancement requests.

  • Support product ownership activities such as backlog management, testing, and documentation.

  • Maintain clear system documentation, workflows, and SOPs for internal visibility and governance.

  • Research, propose, and implement new tools or solutions that increase efficiency and scalability.

  • Take ownership of systems and tasks: proactively identify priorities, propose improvements, and drive initiatives forward without waiting for direction.

Job requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT systems management, operations, or related technical roles.

  • Effective communication skills in English (written and spoken).

  • Strong understanding of systems architecture, workflow automation, and integrations.

  • Hands-on experience with key platforms such as Monday.com, Zoho Suite, G-Suite, CRM systems, and WordPress or similar.

  • Experience designing or managing automations using tools like Zapier or APIs.

  • Basic development or scripting skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or PHP).

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup-style environment: a true self-starter who takes ownership, identifies priorities, and drives improvements without waiting for direction.

  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with non-technical teams.

  • Familiarity with GDPR and data protection best practices.

What do we offer?

  • Friendly working environment (We're dead serious!)

  • Work self-reliantly

  • Remote work

  • Unlimited access to our platform's courses (and discounts for family members)

  • Referral Program

  • Paid Time Off
