Job description
About Academy of the Digital Industries
ADI was born out of a simple need: we couldn’t find enough professionals with the right digital skills, so we decided to train them ourselves.
What started in 2018 as a grassroots initiative in Tbilisi has evolved into a global Edtech platform with over 30,000 alumni.
Our programs are built by experts, designed around real world demands, and delivered in an environment of collaboration, curiosity, and growth.
In 2023, we partnered with Tether to take our mission global, expanding access to practical, career-boosting education for learners everywhere. Today, we’re building the next generation of digital professionals: marketers, designers, coders, and creators who don’t just want a job, they want to make an impact.
We’re guided by values we truly live by: putting people first, staying curious, doing excellent work, and taking ownership.
And we’re just getting started.
Role Overview
At ADI, motion is more than movement, it’s how we teach, inspire, and connect with our learners around the world.
As our Motion Designer, you’ll turn ideas into scroll-stopping stories, breathing life into our brand through animation, video editing, and smart, platform-native content.
From TikToks that teach to Instagram Reels that spark curiosity, your work will shape how we show up on screen , dynamic, clear, and full of purpose. You'll collaborate closely with our creative and learning teams to craft educational content that’s engaging, accessible, and never boring. Think explainer videos, branded animations, and content that actually makes people want to learn.
If you speak After Effects like a second language, have a great sense of rhythm (visual and musical), and care about making content that matters, we’d love to see what you can do.
We're still building, still experimenting, and still dreaming big, and this role is a key part of what’s next.
Main Responsibilities
Design and animate high-impact motion graphics for educational videos, course trailers, social media, and campaigns.
Edit and produce platform-optimized videos (Reels, Stories, TikToks, YouTube Shorts).
Collaborate with content creators, marketers, and educators to develop clear visual narratives.
Create storyboards and motion concepts that align with educational goals.
Integrate motion graphics within broader design systems and layouts in Figma.
Adapt content to meet performance and storytelling best practices across all major platforms.
Job requirements
5+ years of experience in motion design and video editing.
Strong English communication skills (Russian/Georgian is a plus).
Experience working on a virtual/global team is preferred.
Strong portfolio with examples of work in social media and educational video content.
Experience creating content for various social media platforms.
Proficiency in motion graphics software (After Effects, Cinema 4D).
Strong video editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
Knowledge of Figma and the ability to integrate motion into design systems.
Strong visual storytelling and typography skills.
Experience developing storyboards and motion design concepts independently.
Ability to develop storyboards and visualize motion concepts.
Operate with minimal supervision.
