Job description
About Academy of the Digital Industries
ADI was born out of a simple need: we couldn’t find enough professionals with the right digital skills, so we decided to train them ourselves.
What started in 2018 as a grassroots initiative in Tbilisi has evolved into a global Edtech platform with over 30,000 alumni.
Our programs are built by experts, designed around real world demands, and delivered in an environment of collaboration, curiosity, and growth.
In 2023, we partnered with Tether to take our mission global, expanding access to practical, career-boosting education for learners everywhere. Today, we’re building the next generation of digital professionals: marketers, designers, coders, and creators who don’t just want a job, they want to make an impact.
We’re guided by values we truly live by: putting people first, staying curious, doing excellent work, and taking ownership.
And we’re just getting started.
Role Overview
As a Web Product Owner at ADI, you will own the end-to-end development and evolution of our website as a core growth and business asset across multiple markets, sitting at the intersection of product, growth, and execution. You will define what we build and why, manage and prioritize the product backlog, and ensure fast, high-quality delivery by coordinating developers and aligning stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Operations, and country teams. You will bring structure to an evolving environment, establish clear workflows, and translate business needs into actionable tasks, while continuously optimizing performance, user experience, and conversion. This role requires strong ownership, comfort operating in ambiguity, and a hands-on mindset — you won’t wait for instructions, but will define direction, drive priorities, and make things happen end-to-end.
Main Responsibilities
Own the website as a core business asset across multiple markets, ensuring it supports student acquisition, conversion, and revenue growth.
Define and prioritize the website roadmap and manage a structured product backlog (bugs, improvements, new features), ensuring clear visibility of tasks, priorities, and progress across all stakeholders.
Translate marketing and sales requirements into clear product specifications and actionable tasks for developers.
Lead and coordinate the development team, including defining scope, reviewing effort estimations, and ensuring alignment on delivery priorities, quality, and timelines.
Define and maintain clear collaboration models with the development team, including separation between maintenance (bug fixing) and new feature development (scope, timeline, budget).
Conduct regular product, technical, and SEO audits to identify current state, key issues, and improvement opportunities across all markets.
Continuously optimize the website for conversion (CRO), user experience, and performance, identifying bottlenecks, technical limitations, and operational inefficiencies, and proactively driving solutions.
Own the implementation and evolution of landing pages, funnels, and key user journeys.
Own the multi-language structure of the website, ensuring consistency across global and local markets while defining clear guidelines for local adaptation.
Align and coordinate key stakeholders (country teams, development, SEO, leadership), ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and communication flows.
Establish and manage a structured workflow, including weekly syncs with development and country teams, and async tracking via project management tools.
Lead and oversee the integration of the website with payment systems, including local banking providers (particularly for the Georgian market), ensuring reliability, compliance, and a smooth user experience.
Monitor website performance and key metrics (traffic, conversion, drop-offs), and iterate quickly based on insights.
Ensure proper integration of tools and systems (analytics, CRM, tracking, SEO, etc.).
Drive fast experimentation and testing (A/B tests, new flows, messaging) to improve results.
Maintain a hands-on, execution-focused approach, driving initiatives forward in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment without relying on perfect conditions or complete information.
Job requirements
4+ years of proven experience managing and delivering web products end-to-end (from idea to launch and iteration).
Experience managing product backlogs, prioritization, and working as a Product Owner or in a similar role.
Solid understanding of website architecture, integrations, and development processes (front-end, back-end basics), without needing to code.
Experience working with developers and managing their workload, priorities, and delivery.
Experience structuring workflows, managing delivery processes, and driving execution in fast-paced environments.
Strong understanding of conversion, user experience, and growth (CRO mindset).
Ability to translate business needs into clear product requirements and actionable tasks.
Experience working across multiple stakeholders (product, marketing, development, operations) and aligning priorities in complex environments.
Experience working closely with Marketing and Sales teams in a growth-driven environment.
Data-driven mindset: comfortable analyzing performance and making decisions based on metrics.
Strong ownership and execution mindset: ability to move fast and get things done without continual direct supervision.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment with changing priorities.
Strong English/Georgian communication skills, able to align different stakeholders and drive decisions
