Role Overview

Are you a creative mastermind with a passion for social media video content? Academy of Digital Industries is looking for an ambitious, innovative, and trend-savvy Social Media Video Creator to join our growing team in the UK division.

In this key role, you will be a pivotal member of the digital team, focusing on creating, editing, and optimizing video content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Your expertise will ensure that our video content aligns with organizational goals, resonates with our target audiences, and effectively drives engagement and conversions.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a video content strategy aligned with the company's objectives, target audiences, and brand guidelines.

• Plan, shoot, and edit short-form videos tailored for social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

• Collaborate closely with the Content and Design teams to align video content with overall marketing campaigns and branding.

• Work with brand guidelines to ensure consistency in visual identity and messaging.

• Understand and interpret creative briefs, transforming them into engaging video content.

• Stay up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and viral content formats, proactively initiating video creative ideas.

• Experiment with different video styles, storytelling techniques, and editing trends to enhance audience engagement.

• Manage and organize video assets efficiently for future use and repurposing.

• Continuously monitor and analyze video performance metrics, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize future content.

• Provide regular reports to the Head of Digital on video content performance and its alignment with company objectives.

• 3+ years of proven experience in social media video content creation.

• Strong expertise in TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

• Excellent video shooting, editing, and post-production skills.

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut.

• Ability to conceptualize and execute engaging short-form videos that align with brand objectives.

• Experience working within brand guidelines and maintaining a cohesive visual identity.

• Strong understanding of social media trends and best practices for video content.

• Familiarity with task management platforms (Monday.com, Trello, etc.).

• Proactive and highly creative, with the ability to initiate new video content ideas.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
